  • Tactical Combat Casualty Care (TCCC) at Cadet Summer Training is not a timed event but remains a test for Cadets if they can quickly respond to care under fire.  Cadets are assessed on knowing the different steps of evaluating a casualty and how to utilize the different items in an individual first aid kit (IFAK) during the TCCC lane.  Ssg. Cadets from 2nd Regiment went to Heard Park today to complete their Tactical Combat Casualty Care (TC3), more commonly known as First Aid, testing. The training focused on evaluating a casualty, going through the proper steps of treating the mannequin, Rescue Randy, and transporting him to a location where he can receive more in-depth treatment.   • FORT KNOX, Ky.—Randy is having the worst day of his life. With sucking chest wounds and femoral artery hemorrhages, Randy’s skin has already gone rubbery and lost all color. Luckily for him, his battle buddies—every Cadet in 4th Regiment, Advanced Camp—dragged him to safety and treated his wounds.
